Sophie Sharp

Sophie is dedicated to strengthening the bond between dogs and their owners. She helps owners and their dogs build strong, positive relationships and believes every dog deserves effective training with lasting results.

She began her career in 2021, apprenticing under an experienced professional trainer and expanding her skills while working with a wide range of dogs, including those with behavioural challenges.

Sophie’s passion stems from her experience with her own dog, Jake, an American Bully who arrived untrained and highly reactive to other dogs. With consistent training, Jake became well-mannered, reaffirming Sophie’s commitment to helping clients achieve lasting, positive results.

Sophie has been the lead trainer for a successful training company in Ottawa since 2023. She has since decided to return home to Guelph to offer trusted training services alongside Sarah in her community.

Sarah tanguay

Growing up surrounded by dogs, Sarah’s love for animals was shaped from an early age. She discovered her passion for training with her first personal dog, Hank, a Shepherd mix, gaining hands-on experience with reactivity, obedience, and breed-specific needs.

She began her professional career in Ottawa as a pet care provider, which deepened her interest in dog training. In 2021, she advanced to an apprentice trainer role and developed her understanding of training theory while gaining more hands-on experience. Since then, Sarah has worked as a full-time professional dog trainer, gaining valuable experience with various breeds, temperaments, and behavioural cases.

She is actively training her Dutch Shepherd, Kuma, in dog sports, specifically PSA (Protection Sports Association), and plans to compete in the future.

Sarah is passionate about helping dogs and their owners build strong relationships through clear, consistent, and fair communication, with a focus on improving understanding and connection between both ends of the leash.
